An integrated Selubring element continuously supplies lubricant to the rolling elements through capillary action — with no increase in carriage height. No grease intervals, no relubrication access, no downtime.
Miniature guides fail the way most machine parts fail: quietly, because nobody could reach them to grease them. SMT removes that failure mode. A lubricating element is built into the carriage itself and feeds the raceway continuously by capillary action.
The envelope is identical to the ST series — same heights, same widths, same mounting holes. Design the axis once and choose ST or SMT per application; or retrofit SMT later on equipment whose maintenance schedule has become a problem.
Enclosed mechanisms, vertical axes, clean-room-capped assemblies — anywhere a grease nipple is a 40-minute disassembly, SMT removes the task entirely.
Equipment that runs shifts without pause consumes lubricant faster than any maintenance calendar assumes. The Selubring element feeds continuously, not on schedule.
No external lubrication means no oil migration or residue on optics, sensors, wafers and labware — a real constraint in inspection and analysis instruments.
Identical dimensions and mounting holes to the ST standard series. Switching between standard and self-lubricating never costs a redesign.
Continuous lubrication keeps friction and preload stable — the drift you would otherwise see after relubrication lapses never starts.
Machines come back for the next build, not for a re-grease. Service intervals stretch, warranty claims drop.
SMT shares the ST series envelope, so the load table is identical — pick the size by load and moment, then choose self-lubrication at no space cost.

Replacement guidance: envelope dimensions match; verify hole pattern, preload class and seal option against your drawing before ordering — we check it for you, free.
A porous Selubring element inside the carriage holds lubricant and releases it to the ball raceway continuously by capillary action. There is no pump, no fitting and no external oil reservoir — and no increase in carriage height.
No — 20,000 km is the self-lubricating travel performance under defined conditions. Actual life still depends on load, speed, environment and cleanliness. Send us your stroke, load and cycle rate and we help estimate it.
Yes — that is the point of the shared envelope. Existing ST mounting holes accept SMT carriages directly; check preload and seal options against your drawing.
The 3–20 mm size range mirrors ST (carriage variants as listed in the tables above). For 3 mm and 5 mm availability and full datasheets, ask us — we reply within one business day.
Send us the model, quantity and stroke length — we reply with a price and lead time within one business day. Standard sizes are ex-stock; custom lengths and hole patterns in 7 working days; 1 piece is enough to start; every guide carries a 1-year warranty.
